[SPEAKER_26]: Pressuring companies to choose Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state Gujarat for similar projects, instead of leasing out land as for existing policy Karnatka Bala offered it on a lease come sale basis, and allow Marquis and a conductor firms to get plots without competitive bidding, analysts say this could set the stage for more companies to establish manufacturing in Karnatka, which already leads India's IT services industry, a shan garg New Delhi.

[SPEAKER_24]: The 10% across the board tariff was meant to be a placeholder, put in place after the Supreme Court struck down his reciprocal liberation day tariffs in February.

[SPEAKER_24]: But a group of small businesses who brought the case argued that the

[SPEAKER_24]: the White House may now appeal, but if they lose, it'll mean more refunds for businesses affected at a time when the Trump administration is already trying to pay back $166 billion in liberation day tariffs.

[SPEAKER_24]: I'm Nick Harper and Washington.

[SPEAKER_01]: An outbreak of hunt virus on board a cruise ship is not the start of a pandemic, according to the UN Health Agency.

[SPEAKER_01]: The World Health Organization says it's not the same situation as six years ago with COVID-19, because hunt of virus spreads through close intimate contact.

[SPEAKER_01]: All those who have fallen ill on the cruise ship experiencing a hunter virus outbreak are now in hospital as the ship itself and the remaining passengers sail to Spain's Canary Islands.

[SPEAKER_01]: U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday he had been briefed on the situation telling reporters it's very much we hope under control.

[SPEAKER_01]: Former passengers who left the ship at earlier ports are being advised to self-isolate, Stuart Smith reports from London.

[SPEAKER_25]: 146 people from 23 nations are still on board the ship, which has been anchored off the African island nation of Cape Verde for three days after being refused permission to disembark.

[SPEAKER_25]: It's now sailing to Spain's Canary Islands from where passengers will return home after being checked if they're fit to travel, but the president of the Canary Islands has protested the plan, while the variant of the disease believed to be responsible for this outbreak is transmissible between humans,

[SPEAKER_25]: It requires much closer contact than flu or COVID-19, and the World Health Organization says there's no need for panic.

[SPEAKER_01]: Stuart Smith, London The main news again.

[SPEAKER_01]: US President Donald Trump says a ceasefire with Iran is still in place after both sides exchanged fire late on Thursday.

[SPEAKER_10]: I mean our things fantastic for you are you kind of living and shouting and doing all of the the fun stuff That's always what I want to know

[SPEAKER_10]: are you having fun?

[SPEAKER_10]: Because if you're not having fun, then maybe we should talk about some other things where we can't have fun.

[SPEAKER_10]: You know, we do all the fun stuff that we should be doing.

[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe that's the way to look at it.

[SPEAKER_10]: So let's start talking right away about all the stuff that's going on inside of the world of the multiverse.

[SPEAKER_10]: And let me give you the start of where I'd like to start with some of the stuff.

[SPEAKER_10]: Let's go into that WTF mode.

[SPEAKER_10]: And now it's not what you're thinking.

[SPEAKER_10]: It's welcome to Florida.

[SPEAKER_10]: A Florida woman in Caleb Berglis of Ava Maria was home with her sleeping baby when she heard a loud banging.

[SPEAKER_10]: on the linoid that's kind of like the screen didn't section just in case we don't know what that is uh, fearing an intruder she checked the porch and it's said found two alligator staring through her uh, screen and writing right outside of the door.

[SPEAKER_10]: The gators had ripped open a mesh and were brawling so violently that uh, they were called on video biting the uh, each other's tails.

[SPEAKER_10]: Kayla said that it looked like a territorial fight, not mating behavior because there was blood and one gator head of the other is a hind quarters and it's jaw, I think that that means it's but uh, Lyson trapped uh, Lyson's trapper arrived and managed to quarter one of the gators and thrashed around the porch cause even more destruction, both reptiles were eventually relocated.

[SPEAKER_10]: Kayla awarded neighbors afterwards, keep an eye on their kids and pets saying that the gators were fast, powerful and terrifying.

[SPEAKER_10]: Take a listen to what she had to say.

[SPEAKER_02]: I thought somebody was breaking in because I never thought that the gators were gonna enter my porch.

[SPEAKER_02]: Definitely it looked like they were fighting over territory or something.

[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't like a mating ritual that I had seen because there was blood and it had it some kind quarters like in its jaws through the door.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was scary and I just worn everybody else in the neighborhood like watch your kids, watch the dogs because it was fast.

[SPEAKER_02]: And they were powerful.

[SPEAKER_10]: OK, so let me ask you something kind of strange.

[SPEAKER_10]: Do you watch a lot of mating for gators?

[SPEAKER_10]: I'm just asking, because that's kind of a weird comment to make is at least it seemed that way in that particular regard.

[SPEAKER_10]: So what do you think?

[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, I don't know.

[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe that's something that people sit around and watch.

[SPEAKER_10]: I'm just not familiar with it.

[SPEAKER_10]: So there you go, some stuff to think about.

[SPEAKER_10]: So here you go.

[SPEAKER_10]: Do you want to hear something weird?

[SPEAKER_10]: This is the stuff that I have to talk about, because this is the stuff that I get sent in and I never knew what I should mention it.

[SPEAKER_10]: So I go, no, no.

[SPEAKER_10]: We're gonna hang on to this still Friday.

[SPEAKER_10]: To speed fat burn.

[SPEAKER_10]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_10]: Coconut oil.

[SPEAKER_10]: Coconut oil increases a metabolism by 56 percent.

[SPEAKER_10]: Credit goes to the oil medium chain fatty acids which improves the thyroid glandability to convert fat into fuel.

[SPEAKER_10]: A delicious tablespoon of coconut oil or a quarter of a cup of each canned pineapple, albuming a milk and vanilla yogurt and rice.

[SPEAKER_10]: That will do the trick.

[SPEAKER_10]: Did you know this?

[SPEAKER_10]: And until I just said this a moment ago, was it something you wanted to do?

[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe that's the other question I probably should be asking instead of asking, did you know this?

[SPEAKER_10]: It's kind of weird the stuff that gets sent in, uh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe it's important to some.

[SPEAKER_10]: So let's continue talking about some other stuff that is going on inside of the world of the multi, because that's this kind of what we do around here and talk a little bit about everything.

[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, so talked about the alligator thing, let's talk about this one.

[SPEAKER_10]: Domino's driver runs down a customer over a tip dispute.

[SPEAKER_10]: In a Missouri, Fulton, Missouri, Domino's driver's Zachary Nicholas Walton escalated a routine delivery into a violent confrontation after he received a tip according to the probable cause-affidated, Walton initiated an argument shouting profanities calling the customer and witness fucking rude and taunting them.

[SPEAKER_10]: What are you going to do, bitch?

[SPEAKER_10]: Come get me, surveillance video reportedly backs up the escalation, investigators say that Walton then got into the vehicle reverse towards the roadway and despite the victim not blocking his exit, he shifted into drive and intentionally accelerated, striking the customer enforcing him into another vehicle to avoid a more serious injury.

[SPEAKER_10]: The victim suffered a visible hand injury and scrapes to a shin.

[SPEAKER_10]: Police say that Walton fled at a high speed was later found at a local dominoes, where he admitted that he drove towards the victim but claimed that he only meant to scare him.

[SPEAKER_10]: He is now being held on bond on charges including first degree assault, armed criminal action and leaving the scene of an accident, authorities also note.

[SPEAKER_10]: that Walton has prior conviction for domestic assault and false imprisonment, underscoring the danger they say he poses.

[SPEAKER_10]: Domino says 30 minutes or less, hit and run express.

[SPEAKER_10]: He didn't get a tip, so he tried to deliver one with his bumper.

[SPEAKER_10]: So there you go.

[SPEAKER_10]: What do we hear, think?

[SPEAKER_10]: Now listen, I'm not saying people should be working for free.

[SPEAKER_10]: Never been the case.

[SPEAKER_10]: But it does get a little strange.

[SPEAKER_10]: when this is the shit you go to because of what ends up happening and not getting tip like this is like severe like this is kind of one of those things that you go and go what the hell are you thinking so there you go take a listen to this a Saskatchewan tow truck driver is going viral after turning a routine service call into a full wild

[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, Clint Gottner, owner of rebel towing spotted a moose trapped into an ice near his home and immediately put every customer waiting on hold.

[SPEAKER_10]: He told the reporter he couldn't stay to see the animal suffering and jumped into action using his flat bed as a sling and helped from neighbors.

[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see.

[SPEAKER_10]: Plint managed to pull the exhausted moves later, nicknamed Rebel out of the frozen water.

[SPEAKER_10]: Once the moves was safely on the truck, the rescue took the wholesome turn.

[SPEAKER_10]: Clint called his wife and said, honey, bring out some blankets.

[SPEAKER_10]: I've got a moose on the truck.

[SPEAKER_10]: Rebels spent several days recovering on their property, common enough to let Clint scratches chin rub his nose and even pet his ears.

[SPEAKER_10]: By Monday morning, the moose wandered off it and it's own apparently fully recovered.

[SPEAKER_10]: Even the motorists waiting on the delay to tow truck didn't mind the hold up Clint joke.

[SPEAKER_10]: Hopefully he comes back before he, um,

[SPEAKER_10]: before he still has a toe bill that he needs to pay.

[SPEAKER_10]: So there you go.

[SPEAKER_10]: Some things to talk about as we are talking.

[SPEAKER_10]: What do you think?

[SPEAKER_10]: For sure, for sure it's an interesting one.

[SPEAKER_10]: You know, these are these wholesome moments that one talks about and never knows if it's really going to see the light of day in regards to some of the news stories that do occur.

[SPEAKER_10]: So I like the moments when we get to talk about them.

[SPEAKER_10]: No doubt about that.

[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, so let's continue talking about some other things.

[SPEAKER_10]: Left side sleepers are more anxious, and the science behind his way deeper than sleeping weird.

[SPEAKER_10]: A growing body of sleep tracking research shows that people who naturally drift to the left side to report higher levels of stress, emotional sensitivity, and more vivid, story-like dreams.

[SPEAKER_10]: Meanwhile, right side sleepers consistently score as calmer, more optimistic, and less of reactive daily stressors.

[SPEAKER_10]: What research your things are going on, sleep science says that the difference may come down to the brain and the body process of stress during the night.

[SPEAKER_10]: Left-side sleepers put more pressure on their left side of their body, which is lean to the brain right-home hemisphere.

[SPEAKER_10]: the site associated with emotions imagination and threat detection.

[SPEAKER_10]: That may explain why left side sleepers report more intense dreams and wake up feeling mentally busy.

[SPEAKER_10]: Right side sleepers tend to activate the left hemisphere, which is tied to logic, calmness, and positive emotional regulation.

[SPEAKER_10]: These sleepers report fewer nightmares.

[SPEAKER_10]: and more stable mood upon waking up.

[SPEAKER_10]: Sleep tracking data also shows that left-side sleepers experience more micro-awakenings, meeting that their brain stays slightly more alert through the night, a classic sign of underlying anxiety.

[SPEAKER_10]: The dream deference left-side sleepers report more vivid dreams, more emotional charge story lines, more nightmares and stress.

[SPEAKER_10]: and stress dreams, right side reports, simpler, less intense dreams, more positive dreams, themes, and fewer middle of the night wake-ups.

[SPEAKER_10]: So there you go, some stuff to think about.

[SPEAKER_10]: So I got a question, so does this make you feel like you can flip it?

[SPEAKER_10]: Like can you flip what side you're going to be sleeping on?

[SPEAKER_10]: In regards to it, like I will tell you for the longest time I was a stomach sleeper.

[SPEAKER_10]: And then I had to get used to actually doing the sleeping on the back thing because it got weird for a long period of time that I could not sleep if I wasn't sleeping that way.

[SPEAKER_10]: That'd correct that.

[SPEAKER_10]: So there you go.

[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_10]: So let's continue talking.

[SPEAKER_22]: Let's get into some serious news for a moment.

[SPEAKER_10]: Rudy Giuliani has been moved out of ICU, but it's still hospitalized as he continues to recovering from pneumonia.

[SPEAKER_10]: His spokesperson said Goodman said on Wednesday night that Giuliani was admitted Sunday

[SPEAKER_10]: Goodman said that Julian Liang will spend some time recovering before leaving the hospital.

[SPEAKER_10]: and thanks to supporters for the outpouring of love and prayers.

[SPEAKER_10]: Earlier in the week, Goodman explained that Giuliani's pneumonia became severe because of restrictive airway disease, which he said Giuliani developed after running towards the World Trade Center.

[SPEAKER_10]: During September 11, 2001 attacks, the condition causes pneumonia to quickly overwhelm his body, requiring mechanical ventilation to stabilize his oxygen levels.

[SPEAKER_10]: So there you go.

[SPEAKER_10]: Awesome.

[SPEAKER_10]: Some other news.

[SPEAKER_10]: Let's talk about this real quick.

[SPEAKER_10]: USPS is reviewing the proposed rule that would allow private individuals to mail handguns, ending the nearly one year per 100 year probation since 1927.

[SPEAKER_10]: Federal law has barred the USPS from shipping concealed to fire alarms unless the sender is a licensed dealer.

[SPEAKER_10]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_10]: That's what's going on

[SPEAKER_10]: January the Department of Justice issued a legal options arguing the 1927 law violates the Second Amendment stating that if Congress operates a partial service, it cannot refuse to ship constitutionally protected firearms for law abiding citizens.

[SPEAKER_10]: Even if there are not licensed dealers, while in that opinion, the USBS proposed a rule April of 2026 to permit mailing hand guides and such as pistols and revolvers.

[SPEAKER_10]: Under the proposal, hand goods would follow the same safety requirements already applied to long guns.

[SPEAKER_10]: They must be unloaded securely, patch it, package in the public comment period closed on May the 4th and the USPS says it is now reviewing the feedback before the final decision.

[SPEAKER_10]: So there you go, there you go, there you go, okay, so we'll see what happens there.

[SPEAKER_10]: Also, in some other news, I'm talking about this with a federal trade court delivering a major blow to President Trump's trade agenda yesterday, really that he overstepped his authority when he imposed the tariff of most U.S. imports earlier this year in a two one decision, the court of an international trade, found the Trump's

[SPEAKER_10]: properly invoked a rarely use a section of trade act, 1974, which allows emergency tariffs when the U.S. faces serious balance of payment problems, the judges concluded that those conditions did not exist making the tariff of unlawful.

[SPEAKER_10]: This marks the second major legal defeat for Trump's tariff strategy.

[SPEAKER_10]: Um, his earlier route of broad terrors was struck down by the Supreme Court triggering a massive refund process of roughly $166 billion in duties, and the new ruling stands the administration would have to reimburse reporters of the 10% tariff.

[SPEAKER_10]: The decision also limits Trump's ability at least for doubt to impose a sweeping tariff without congressional approval.

[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, Larry, excuse me, pushing company towards US manufacturing, the administration had described the terror of his temporary measure while it worked on more durable trade policy under different statues, which are not ready yet.

[SPEAKER_10]: So that's all.

[SPEAKER_10]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_10]: There you go.

[SPEAKER_10]: What do you think?

[SPEAKER_10]: I'm just asking.

[SPEAKER_10]: I just want to have a better understanding there.

[SPEAKER_10]: So there you go, take a listen to this one real quick.

[SPEAKER_10]: Coming out in Tennessee, Tennessee lawmakers have approved a new registration map that would eliminate the state's last democratic leaning, black majority congressional district, sending the plan to governor Bill Lee for final approval.

[SPEAKER_10]: The move becomes just days after the U.S. Supreme Court ruling weekend part of the voting rights act, a section that had helped protect minority communities ability to elect candidates of their choice.

[SPEAKER_10]: analysts expect the states to move quickly after that decision.

[SPEAKER_10]: The Tennessee did.

[SPEAKER_10]: The district in question is Memphis Bay's seat along held by Democratic Steve Cohen under the new map.

[SPEAKER_10]: The district is split into three diplomatically Republican leaning districts meaning that of all nine Tennessee seats would now favor the GOP.

[SPEAKER_10]: The vote has sparked protests inside and outside of the Capitol with some uh, demographics or yeah, Democratic demonstrators removed from the gallery.

[SPEAKER_10]: So there you go.

[SPEAKER_10]: What do you think?

[SPEAKER_10]: It's interesting.

[SPEAKER_10]: It's interesting on how these times are actually going about in regards to moving some of the stuff.

[SPEAKER_10]: that is going on.
